I have been meaning to head to Publix.  Finally made my first visit to the new store here in Asheville.  Beautiful store.  Well laid out.  I got my small deal of the day- my Free can of Lipton Iced Tea and my $2 Capri Suns for the kids.  $2.12 🙂

I saw other good deals but I wasn’t prepared nor did I have time to really shop, so I just grabbed and went.

Coupon ideas:
Register your phone number online at http://www.publix.com and click coupons in their digital coupon directory.  You enter your phone number at the register keypad as you’re checking out.

They do NOT double any coupons.

They WILL take 1 Publix coupon (digital or paper) and 1 Manufacturer coupon per item.   There are 3 different papers (including the ad paper) at the door as you walk into the produce section that have Publix paper coupons to clip.

One of their digital coupons that expires on 6/27 is a ‘Free 12oz Can of lipton Iced Tea’ which I found on the soda aisle… well the guy who worked there had to help me find them…:/
A second digital coupon was for $1 off Capri Sun.  They were on sale for $2.99.
Small deal, but this gave me an opportunity to evaluate the store and see how they run their sales in person.

I will say between the girls at customer service who helped me get information on sponsorships, the guy who helped me find the Lipton tea, and the lady who walked me through checkout and the coupon policy, they are extremely friendly.
